# AVADO > AVADO makes plug-and-play hardware for running blockchain nodes at home, mainly for Ethereum staking. You buy the box once, install nodes and validators from the DappStore in a web interface (the Admin UI) without the command line, and your validator keys stay on your own device. AVADO was founded in December 2018; since 2025 it has been operated by Informacijske storitve Žiga Flis s.p., Slovenia, which is also the seller. Key facts: - Ethereum solo staking: 32 ETH to activate a validator, up to 2,048 ETH per validator since Pectra (May 2025). This is the staking option for new AVADO setups. Execution clients: Geth and Nethermind. Consensus clients: Teku, Nimbus and Prysm. MEV-Boost is supported (optional, from the DappStore). - Rocket Pool: existing Rocket Pool node operators' minipools keep working on AVADO. Rocket Pool moved to megapools with a 4 ETH bond per validator in its Saturn 1 upgrade on 18 February 2026 (https://saturn.rocketpool.net/); the AVADO Rocket Pool package is being updated for megapools, so new Rocket Pool setups are on hold. Contact support@ava.do before starting a new Rocket Pool setup; status: https://docs.ava.do/staking-ethereum/eth-staking-overview - The DappStore also has packages for other networks; networks you can run on AVADO include Avalanche and Qtum (a staking node, no minimum stake; see https://docs.ava.do/more-staking-opportunities/qtum-staking). Gnosis Chain staking is no longer offered for new setups: Gnosis is retiring its validator set (GIP-153, target December 2026 or January 2027; the plan and the date are not final yet). AVADO keeps existing customers' Gnosis apps updated until the switch; see https://docs.ava.do/more-staking-opportunities/gnosis-staking - Hardware is sold at https://www.ava.do/shop/ (paid with Stripe, prices in EUR, no VAT charged because the seller is not VAT registered, shipped worldwide from Europe, about 4 weeks from order to delivery). Current models include AVADO boxes with Intel Core Ultra 7 255H and AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processors, and a 4 TB upgrade kit. The AVADO i7 and AVADO i5 are discontinued. Check the shop for current prices and stock. - Priority Care (formerly Priority Support): a subscription for one AVADO (linked by node ID) at €12 per month or €120 per year (saves €24); the first 14 days are free for first-time subscribers, once per box. Includes priority email support with a 24-hour response time on business days, a private support channel, personal 1-on-1 support sessions, an email when the box has been offline for 60 minutes and when it is back; emails about critical problems found by the box's own health checks, such as a stopped app, a disk that is full or nearly full, a missing fee recipient, an update that cannot install or a consensus client that has fallen behind (run every 10 minutes, one email per problem, bundled, each type can be switched off); warnings about known bad versions and upcoming network upgrades affecting installed apps; a monthly health report; a reply within 8 business hours when the box is down (business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 CET, except Slovenian public holidays); two check-ups and one guided hardware migration a year; 10% off AVADO hardware; check-ups, guided moves and the discount are booked by emailing support@ava.do with the Node ID. Alerts need the free "AVADO Care" app from the AVADO store, installed with one click from the Priority page in the Admin UI. Priority Care needs the AVADO system update (DAPPMANAGER 10.0.48) and Admin 10.0.57, which arrive automatically. It sends the node ID, installed app names and versions, disk usage, the overall health result and short problem titles; never wallet, keys, IP addresses, peers or validator data. Subscribe in the Admin UI under Priority (http://my.ava.do/#/priority from the network the box is on; payment by Stripe); manage or cancel via "Manage billing" (Stripe customer portal). Cancelling during the trial costs nothing; after that it stops renewal and the service continues to the end of the paid period. Free for everyone: Admin health checks and fix buttons, security and network upgrade updates, basic support. - Monitoring: install "Grafana" from the DappStore (Prometheus and Node exporter are installed with it). Dashboards for CPU, memory, disk and network, and for Teku, Nimbus and Prysm. Runs locally on the AVADO; no data leaves the box. With it installed, the Admin Home page also warns when the consensus client falls behind, has too few peers or misses attestations. Open it from My DApps or at http://grafana.my.ava.do:3000. - Support: documentation at https://docs.ava.do, Discord community at https://discord.gg/RpMaFjTjyw, email support@ava.do. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.ava.do/): what AVADO is, who it is for, hardware, supported networks, FAQ - [Ethereum staking](https://www.ava.do/ethereum-staking/): how solo staking works on AVADO, what you need, and the status of Rocket Pool - [Priority Care](https://www.ava.do/priority-care/): prices, free trial, what is included, what the AVADO Care app sends, how to subscribe and cancel - [Monitoring](https://www.ava.do/monitoring/): Grafana dashboards on your AVADO - [Support](https://www.ava.do/support/): all ways to get help - [About](https://www.ava.do/about/): who makes AVADO, its history since 2018 and who operates it today - [Shipping and delivery](https://www.ava.do/shipping-and-delivery/): payment, VAT, shipping times, invoices - [Blog](https://www.ava.do/blog/): articles about home staking and Ethereum upgrades ## Guides - [Ways to stake ETH compared](https://www.ava.do/blog/ways-to-stake-eth-compared/): solo staking, Rocket Pool, liquid staking and exchanges side by side - [Ethereum staking hardware requirements in 2026](https://www.ava.do/blog/ethereum-staking-hardware-requirements/): CPU, 32 GB of RAM, a 4 TB SSD and bandwidth, and how AVADO models compare - [Slashing, penalties and downtime](https://www.ava.do/blog/ethereum-validator-slashing-penalties-and-downtime/): what going offline costs, what slashing is and how to avoid it - [Fusaka and Glamsterdam](https://www.ava.do/blog/fusaka-upgrade-what-home-stakers-need-to-know/): what the December 2025 upgrade changed for home stakers and what comes next - [How Ethereum’s Pectra upgrade improves staking](https://www.ava.do/blog/how-ethereums-pectra-upgrade-improves-staking/): validators up to 2,048 ETH, compounding and exits since May 2025 ## Shop and documentation - [AVADO shop](https://www.ava.do/shop/): current hardware, prices and stock - [AVADO documentation](https://docs.ava.do): setup and troubleshooting guides ## Optional - [Full text of key pages](https://www.ava.do/llms-full.txt) - [Privacy policy](https://www.ava.do/privacy-policy/) - [Terms and conditions](https://www.ava.do/terms-and-conditions/) - [Blog RSS feed](https://www.ava.do/blog/rss.xml)
