How does the Mysterium Network VPN work?

Mysterium’s decentralized VPN is the first of its kind. It is an application that allows you to become a node and share both your IP address and unused bandwidth with anyone in the world who needs it.

For example, when using the app, you can provide a VPN service so that people can select your IP address to start routing their traffic through. You get paid for providing this service.

Mysterium Network is sending whitelisted traffic. Their decentralized architecture distributes all traffic across the network using an advanced sharding technique. First of all, you need an AVADO Box because we ensured that the Mysterium Network package runs frictionless on this hardware.

You can find the Mysterium Package in your AvadOS DAppstore.

If you don’t have the AvadOS yet, you can use this IPFS Hash to download the Mysterium package onto your device.

Once done you see the package like this:

You can install the package.

Once it is installed, go to my DApps and click on the package and it will take you to the onboarding wizard.

The onboarding wizard asks you all the relevant questions for you to earn cryptocurrencies.

It is effortless, and you only need to do two things. 1. Enter the Ethereum Adress you want to have the ETH sent to, and 2. agree to the terms and conditions of the Mysterium Network.

Once you have done that you can click on save and start earning cryptocurrency.

If you want to see your payout address again and look at your stats, click on the link inside the package again and you come to this screen:

You can click on show stats, and it shows your stats within the Mysterium Network.

If you click on balance you see an Etherscan screen with all Transactions of this address.
